Our Story
The idea of Hammy’s Food Joint LLC was envisioned by Danny Garcia-Cortez & Ma’kiaya Glenn; they both pictured a company that will promote positivity by providing quality goods and services to communities in the Missouri area at a reasonable price while making customers in the community feel like they are at home.
The name Hammy’s Food Joint LLC came from Danny’s dog Hammy.

Danny’s pup has been a huge impact to not only Makaiya and Danny but to everyone around them. His beautiful appearance and lovable personality has been a huge inspiration to Hammy’s Food Joint and inspired us to serve communities home-cooked meals/homemade products at a respectable price.
We believe that quality tasty food and spreading positivity can harness the power/ability to bring people together to build a better world.🌎
Hammy’s Food Joint LLC started operating in 2023 at the Ferguson Farmers Market in Ferguson, MO where we served the local community our freshly chopped fruit cups (pineapple, cantaloupe, honey dew melon, watermelon) and fresh made ice cold beverages (freshly squeezed lemonade & Hammy drink). As we grew, we introduced our delicious famous tacos (the classic & the soul taco).
In 2024 we started serving our flavorful delicately crafted food at the Soulard Farmers Market in St. Louis, MO. Contact us for takeout/delivery info
